Riding other recumbents and a Cruzbike?

IMHO If you are already riding reclined and on two wheels you will have no problems with balance and only need to adapt to a different steering and pedaling system. Pity the folks who come straight from the DF world and are suddenly turned upside down , like a turtle on its back, they have to...

What did you do to your Cruzbike today?

That second turn, what a momentum killer! Now that you are more comfortable on the bike it't time to EXPERIMENT !!!!! Go back to the parking lot, set a some buckets as targets, and find a way to do those SLOW TIGHT TURNS while pedaling. I have a pedestrian bridge where you are supposed to walk...

    SOLD - Sofrider - $225 - Mechanicsville, VA

Sounds like a kid with a new toy !!!! pedaling thru slow tight curves are when I lean out the most. since I am not staring at my front wheel I like to imagine stepping on the line/edge of the road with my outside foot as a steering aid.

    Front derailleur on V20

ouch......ouch..... ouch..... all the time spent on shifting ,,, wasted because the bike frame was never securely assembled ?? I am sorry ,, but you NEED a bottom bracket with a flat surface like they all used to have or a 2018 front end parts that no longer clamps in that manner.

    Steering damper/stabilizer

Must be the difference between a Sofrider and a V ???? At the beginning of my one and only parking lot session I put my feet on the pedals, leaned back and the bike transformed and became one unit that made sense, I swooped back and forth without steering input, feeling what the bike wanted to...

    Steering damper/stabilizer

In general if you don't feel the difference between perfect harmony, acceptable / recoverable variations , and Oh My God ; you are ignoring or fighting input from the cruzbike. Going for more speed when you are not comfortable with the vehicles handling seems like folly. Your four decades of...

Helmet for Casual, Everyday Riding: Yes or No?

Only Florida bicycle helmet laws are for minors. I wear my helmet,,,, it's where I hang my sun visor. while you won't go over your cruzbike's handlebars,,, if you smack your head ONCE on the pavement,, the helmet is paid for. I believe Florida motorcyclists are required to have 10K medical...
