Naaaàa the V on the descent is perfect. If it frightens me it's going to frighten everyone. What I meant about the rear view: If you touch it, is it possible to move it over to the bottom right and if you touch it again, it goes back to the original position?

Data gauges are better for me. Perhaps there is a way to minimize the rear view ?

    Bontcycling shoes

I have moldable Shimano shoes. Apparently it adds to 10% efficiency. You have to get your shoes in a special oven and vacuum sucked until cooled down. Is it worth it? I guess if you were competing at a very high level yes. But I am not. So I didn't bother. :p

    Little tweaks

I know I have read many. I will try the same amount of effort at 80 psi next time just to improve my times.... it's worth a try.

Diet: Low Carb and Ultra Cycling

I have just been reading an interesting article in a triathlon magazine about organic silicon being a compliment in your diet to get over all those aches and pains. Anyone tried this? It sounds like an April fall joke.

The rider behind you at the end has very aero bars but they look too wide. Might be a camera view optical illusion but if they were narrower he might give you a bit more of a challenge. Liked the video

    Little tweaks

I changed the ventisit delux seat pad to the 15mm rubber pad cut out that I raced at Sebring. Good to feel the road again. Power. Sitting in it, I am lower and the sides are flush as I've taped it to the carbon seat. I am back in command. My toughest segments have been obliterated. 4 seconds...

    The X01 Eagle has landed

I have a Shimano Ultegra 6800 rear deuralier short cage that's doing nothing. With the garbaruk cage added to it i could use it on the T50. $59 though. I too would like to know if anyone else has used Garbaruk?

    Another new V owner

Dang.... the bike makes me drawl. So you went for Reynolds instead of Boyds. Cool ... they're great. Won't be long before you fly. change the pedals and take off. In the photo looks like you already have so appologies.

    Little tweaks

Well the good thing about a blog is if things don't get better you can review the dates of your amendments. There is a particular strava segment that I haven't been able to better, since June. I can only put it down to 3 things. I am using two chainrings and the big 53t was moved from position 5...

I don't just create controversy while on the Vendetta, it happen on the DF as well

Wait for the morf bars and then you will be completely ostracized  Your young. It's a thrill to be riding. Give it another 20 years... You won't need another weight vest. Do a tough Strava ride the day before you go on a group ride then you won't want to get out of the saddle. I...

Red V20 Frameset (picking on Hal thread).

Hey Hal... best wishes on the way. I spent all summer with a shoulder injury. Taking ages to heal... just think how great you will be afterwards. All the best. Don't think I would ever sell my V though. :cruzbike:

New Dates for Cruzbike Ride Retreat!

I can't make the date. TTV is a history machine. A picture with that is a collector's dream. :p

    Wahoo Elemnt power LEDs

Well, I thought that I would try a different type of suffering today. I configured my power LEDs to 6 with wattage thresholds of 40 with offset 60. So when I got into the 6th red LED (threshold at 220) I would change down gear. It worked. So much so I think it's great to post the idea on the...

How important is weighted avg power over avg power?

I looked at that Strava link. You were up and down like a jojo  You had the correct Thor seat for sure.

My recent 20K TT adventure - video included

I just realized today just how fast you are riding the bike. I don't think the video does it justice. I have a bridge I quite often cross and the descent makes the bike go as fast as you are pedalling. It is a speed that I am nervous with as the roads aren't maintained terribly well. It is...

What did you do to your Cruzbike today?

Silly thing to do: Just ride on your smaller chainring and watch the DF riders try to ride you down. They might catch up with you on those climbs so watch out. It gave me a new level of competition. The surprising thing was my average speed wasn't low at all and my power wattage might have been...
