How best to determine crank length?

I have tested various crank lengths from 90mm to 160 based on my 29" inseam and being about 5'7" The 4 key factors for me are: Less knee bend during the back-stoke: knee bend greater than 90 degrees causes me knee pain, plus when your knee is bent father than 90 degrees you are unable to make...

What I did Today to prepare for Sebring 2018

Yeah - get ready, that is what another 30 years does to you body! .. and it won't feel like 30 years either. so... when you wake up one day and all of a sudden you are 58 - you can remember this conversation - and then go and do your intervals. I'll be 88 and still doing mine - we can...

What I did Today to prepare for Sebring 2018

Thanks Ken, that was me averaging 207 watts for 2:10 - It was just Swift riding - chasing people helps keep the pressure a little higher. Wattage all over the place - good steady state riding - but nothing structured. Here was a fun workout at did Monday after I did 1-hr "Moosilaukee" TR @...

Fastback Double Century bags on a V20

I am sorry, I have not used the bags you have been talking with. Like many on this forum, I have gone from carrying a bunch of food on rides to carrying very little. Just letting my body eat itself while I ride.

    Stall speed of your Cruzbike?

My stall speed is about 10mph :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::D - I am a speed junky, and just hate to go any slower than that, so I avoid hills above 6% at all costs. :)

Zwift - Cruzbike Activities (races and group rides)

I was spinning at maybe 200-250watts right before the start. Probably should have been a lot more and maybe I could have hooked onto them. I will have to experiment.

Zwift - Cruzbike Activities (races and group rides)

haha - Not Jaso's fault. This out of shape "old man" just could not hang with big guys pushing 4-5 wt/kg over the first 1/2 lap. I held about 280 watts for the 1st 5 or 6 minutes, but knew I could not keep that pace for an hour. It was weird, I kind of got stuck in no-man's land. The group I was...

Zwift - Cruzbike Activities (races and group rides)

We'll see if I can keep up or not - maybe if I can learn to draft quickly I can. I rode the TT bike today, so my 15 min was a solo effort. I'll have discord on Jason - waiting for you. I'll probably have been logged in and riding maybe an hour or so, since I usually start around 5am. Look...

Zwift - Cruzbike Activities (races and group rides)

Maybe you can do it faster than 1 hour, but 1 lap today took me 15 minutes, and I doubt I can hold the same speed for 4 of them - perhaps if I learn to draft well, but I hear it is a learned skill! It was originally scheduled for 6:05, but then all of a sudden it changed to 6:20am. Another time...

That is the new one for this year. I could never find it. I did email them however and they verified the sale. Their base price of a Carbon Clincher is $549. 40% off make it a pretty incredible deal at $329!

Heads up; Flo Wheels are back in stock

Can you give me the link you used? All I can find is $50 per wheel off for Black Friday from 10am-2pm, but that was last year's add. Also - are there Carbon Clincher Rims all tubeless now? I could not see where it said so on their website?
