    Vosadrian's V20 Journey - Australia

Use blue painters’ tape. If it leaves residue then it is probably long past time to replace it or the helmet. It will last fall, winter, spring commutes for a year.

    Vosadrian's V20 Journey - Australia

I am told that this solution to the sun visor is an alternative to a true visor: Tape on the inside top of the lens to provide a shade (like in a car windshield) until you get an idea of where you want that extra visor and then black paint for a more permanent solution leaving the outside...

    Vosadrian's V20 Journey - Australia

They can be broken down into two categories almost without exception: Positive reactions are by far the huge majority: children/teenagers: squeal with delight, "can I ride it?", "cool where can I get one", nice ride, look at that, that’s so awesome, geriatric riders: "that looks great"/ is it...

    V20 rack in back!

@TransAm That is one sweet looking, high visibility bike. Is the chain line ok for the rear derailleur? It looks as though you have two headlights one above the bottom bracket and one behind it on the chain stays. Is that a light or something else?

Front dérailleur solution for smaller chainring

Hi Don, Don't count out the 155 if that is what comes standard on the Q model that you have. The smaller cranks do seem to be preferred by a fair number of riders. Not that longer ones can't be done, they absolutely can, but I would first acclimatize myself to the smaller ones and see what...

Front dérailleur solution for smaller chainring

In addition to the leverage and (inverse effect) higher, smoother cadence changing crank length changes fit. Let’s take your example of going from 155mm to 170mm. At maximum leg extension the crank lengthens by 15mm which means you need to pull the boom in towards you ~15mm to keep maximum leg...

    T50. "T" is for "tinker"

Really liking the red accents. Did you do that? It looks really sharp (and matches the mini in the background). and the seat cushion turned out great. I would never have guessed that it came out of your own personal sweat-shop rather than one on the other side of the world that pays more...

Maybe the V20 is a fast bike afterall

With the $ he saves from regenerative genital medical attention he could go to a company we know and buy an ergonomically superior seat that comes with the fastest road bike. I’m sure @DocS would help him learn the basics until he started competing at least.
