    "The New Silvio is Coming"

Looks like maybe the seat is part of the frame, not a separate piece. Hard to tell.

Help with seat issue Silvio 1.5

Hm, well, there is also a 150mm extension, if you can find one. That might make you a little more comfortable in the arms (assuming they are uncomfortable), but it doesn't address your original question about the backrest. I'm sorry, I don't have any suggestions on that one, short of some...

Help with seat issue Silvio 1.5

The 1.5 has the seat welded to the frame, so no, it is not adjustable. You can adjust the length of the boom, and you can slide it forward and back (which will change the height of the bottom bracket and X-seam distance). You can also add a chainstay extension, if you have long legs. I am...

Does Cycling Cause Brittle Bones? Is a recumbent worse?

I have no expertise in the medical field but it seems credible and this is not the first time I've heard that. I hate running but I do try to lift weights a few times per week. Even if it doesn't help my bones, lifting does make me feel stronger, which is nice. :-)

    2017 Race and Event Season

Jason does not draft off of recumbents. Recumbents draft off of Jason. If they can keep up. Which they can't. :-)

Not to mention, the smaller wheels look funny. :-) :-) :-)

    Switching to Tadpole Trike

Hi Ken - sorry to hear that you had a stroke, but I'm glad that it didn't keep you off the road completely! Keep on pedaling!

6-12-24 World TT Championships, Report from Borrego Springs: brief

Fantastic job! If those "Ninja V-18 adapters" make it to production, you can count on me buying a set! I'd love to drop my backrest angle like that!

    EXPIRED - Vendetta 1.0 - $2200 - Scottsdale, AZ

That's a Vendetta 1.0. Anyone know what that thing is that's hanging down between the chainring and front wheel? You can see it most clearly in the 5th image.

    Kervelo Tilting Trike

Neither of those appeals to me. I still with 2 wheels for now. :-)

    Kervelo Tilting Trike

Thanks Rick and Robert. Yeah, makes sense. And you're right, Robert, I've never tried one! Cornering at 40? Scary!

    Kervelo Tilting Trike

I have to say, I don't get the appeal of trikes (unless someone has a problem with balance, of course). OK, so you don't have to unclip when you stop at a light. Is that it? I don't want to drag around an extra wheel just for that. Am I missing something?

Anybody using a disc brake on the front wheel of new V20?

One drawback of only having one brake is that means that you always have to do your braking with the same hand. It's also committing to never (or almost never) let go with your left hand. Imagine getting an itch on your left leg, or you just want to let go of the bar and stretch your...

    V20 Build with Replacement Seat

I was going to suggest that. I have a similar bag on the back of my V, and the camelbak bladder works great with it. I don't know about your bag, but there is a slit at the top of mine that I route the camelbak hose through - I can easily pull it out and shove it back in (so only the...

    Little tweaks

If you attempt the spacer removal, let us know how it goes. I could stand to take mine out too but wasn't sure it would be possible without cutting anything. Right now that part of my bike looks exactly like yours - same Yellow V with same spacers.

Heads up; Flo Wheels are back in stock

Bruce, it's hard to tell from your picture, but are those the Cruzbike wheels on your V? After you ride the Flo wheels around for a bit, please follow up here and tell us how they compare!

Heads up; Flo Wheels are back in stock

Wow, what a great price compared to a set of Zipps! Has anyone ever tried them? How do they compare performance wise? And which one would y'all recommend for a Vendetta if my goal is to go fast but not be clobbered by crosswinds? 60 in the front, 90 in the rear? Or maybe a little less...

Frist Century ride on the V20. only Cruzbike at Hotter'N Hell

I was at that ride last year with my yellow Vendetta. Had to take this year off due to scheduling. Hopefully I'll see you up there next year!
