I could probably make a bag just with that much Velcro! :-)

    Underseat bag for Vendetta?

Thanks Jond - yeah, I saw the NorBack Frame Pack on the accessories page. I'm sure it's functional, but I don't like the way it hangs down, and I don't need that quite that much storage.

    Underseat bag for Vendetta?

I'm looking for a small bag (maybe a top tube bag) that will use up most of the triangular-ish shaped space that the frame makes in front of the back wheel and under the seat. Anybody know of one? It's kind of a weird shape - I'm thinking that if I can't find something, maybe I'll take a...

    Vendetta finally tested

Differences between 2.0 and 20 are listed here, but seat angle is not one of the differences listed. http://cruzbike.com/vendetta Somewhere on this forum I remember John Tolhurst saying that although "20" comes from the seat angle, he said was rounding down and (not as sure on this part) that...

    Vendetta finally tested

If the seat is aluminum and welded to the frame, then I believe that's a Vendetta 1.0. In the 2.0 version, the seat was a layer of fiberglass and a layer of carbon fiber, and velcro'd to the seat (which sounds like it would be a problem but it really isn't). Also the distance between the...

Cd*A testing the Giro Air Attack helmet

I think I might be alright then. My head is angled pretty far down when I'm on the Vendetta - I think because I'm short and I'm a little lower on the headrest than what I should be. I 've noticed that I always have the "double-chin" effect whenever someone takes my picture when I'm riding. I...

Cd*A testing the Giro Air Attack helmet

I tried on an Air Attack in the store. I didn't have my bike with me, but I tried to imagine wearing the Air Attack while reclined on the Vendetta and came to the same conclusion - that the visor didn't come down far enough. I wasn't thinking about line of sight, but it did seem like there...

Two questions for anyone who owns both a Vendetta and a Silvio

One more thing One more thing I forgot to mention, Craig, is that since I have a Silvio 1.5, and presumably you would be buying a new Silvio, which is a little more like the Vendetta, I would think that you'd see less of a contrast between the two bikes than I do.

Two questions for anyone who owns both a Vendetta and a Silvio

My $0.02 Hi Craig, I also have both...started with a Silvio 1.5 and got a V2.0 about a year later. I still ride both bikes. In general, if I'm riding with someone else, I'll be on the Silvio, and if I'm riding alone, I'll be on the V. The reason is all of my riding buddies are on...

Anyone tried the Granfondo H20 DLX Seat Bag?

I have a Vendetta 2.0, which I have a Vendetta 2.0, which has a similar seat and headrest. I built a platform to hold a Bachetta Brain Box. I've had it in place for over 2000 miles now and it works great. I think this work work on a Silvio also...

    Vendetta V20

Kim is right.   That Yellow Kim is right. That Yellow and Chrome front end with the big yellow top tube - was the look, the brand of a Vendetta. It looked awesome, and you could tell it was a Vendetta from a mile away. This new V20 thing looks like a mashup of Vendetta, Silvio, and...

    New to a recumbent

Shiner GASP That's such a fun ride - I've done it myself 3 years in a row now. The last 10-15 miles are TOUGH, so save some strength for them. There is a long, gradual hill, due south (typically straight into the wind, with nothing to block it). Be sure to work your way up to at least...

    Strava

Thanks for the Thanks for the testimonial/note of caution, Drew. I do vary my route according to wind direction, but I did that before Strava came along, so no worries there. I haven't ditched my riding buddies yet to hit a segment (although I will speed up when we get to one, and wait for...

    Strava

    > Frankly, too much emphasis > Frankly, too much emphasis on segments Well, this is exactly what I like about Strava. I like that in Strava, if someone else creates a segment and I ride it, the segment shows up on my ride. I don't have to go and create segments on my own. I enjoy...

    Be careful going down hill

My non-physicist opinion on My non-physicist opinion on the why the coasting to pedaling transition is tricky is this: When you are pedaling but the energy of the pedal force isn't going into the spinning of the wheel, the momentum of your feet and legs spinning has to go somewhere - and...
