Funny, but no! I started with a Silvio 1.5, and got a Vendetta (one of the Yellow ones) after that. I still ride the Silvio occasionally but mostly I ride the Vendetta. I have over 5000 miles on mine. Hang in there. One thing you are right about - riding the Vendetta is wonderful...

Did you try an 'n' shape too? After riding both 'M' and 'n', I preferred 'n'. With the tube sandwiched between the foam pads.

I like the design. You might want something a little more breathable and less stink-absorbing than leather for the hammock part. I don't know what the material is called that they make trampolines out of, but I think that would be a good material.

I've tried a couple different kinds of helmet mounted mirrors (not with this helmet though). For me, a pair of Zefal Spy handlebar mounted mirrors - one on each side - wins hands down.

My head is 58cm. I tried on a large once and it fit if I adjusted it as tight as possible, but it might not fit if I got a haircut! I bought a medium a few weeks ago and it fits well with the helmet adjusted somewhere in the middle.

My dismount technique is to put both feet down and stand up right before I am stopped. I'd guess I'm going about 2 or 3 mph at that point. My momentum stands me up and the bike rolls forward a bit to get the handlebars out of my way. It's fun!
