XQL Q-rings .vs. Reg Q-ring .vs. Circular Chain Rings

What many of you have said it true. I think my conclusions were faulty at this point - sorry?!? As I do not think the Vector Power system is calibrated for Q-rings and therefore there must be an offset applied for whatever OCP you are using. Those numbers don't seem to exist via Garmin. And...

    Vendetta V2 (Large) for sale

Ratz, I see where you are going with this... :) I believe that the fork is the same for all sizes (hopefully Robert can confirm this), so all you would need to get is a medium chain-stay. This may be a hard item in and of itself to aquire. Jon - You have a large frame don't you? Can you measure...

    Vendetta V2 (Large) for sale

I think you need to get Maria Parker to sign it, and then hold out for about $10K.. It''s the last yellow V2. Rare bird!

    T-bone

Joe, man you must ready "everything"! If you go back to that thread you will see there was no "new" after the "beautiful", but it was nice never-the-less. It was about 7 years old (about a $20K car. There where 60K new). That is how I managed to afford my Vendetta's, after I sold it. Elliot, I...

XQL Q-rings .vs. Reg Q-ring .vs. Circular Chain Rings

OK - I finally did it. I compared the XQL Q-ring to the regular Q-ring, to a regular round chain ring. It was not exactly a one-to-one comparison as my XQL Q-ring is 53, my regular Q-ring is 52, and my circular one is only 50, but I adjusted cog teeth and rpm to make speeds match. Variable...

Are Vendetta's really fast or what??????

Correct Ratz, showing her that video would probably ban me from riding over 8mph for the rest of my life! Heck, I didn't like what happened to me when I flatted going 27mph on a track - so I'm gonna give up the high-speed stuff - too scary and life threatening! I still might need some...

Are Vendetta's really fast or what??????

Yeah - it is pretty scary. I won't be don't that kind of speed anytime soon (I hope). I do really prefer just flatlands, or nice rollers. Of course, even falling and sliding at 30mph can ruin your day. I think I might have to look into the kevlar stuff at some point, even for just riding on the...

Are Vendetta's really fast or what??????

Here is a short video of a downhill section on the Blue Ridge Parkway whilst riding the Assault on Mount Mitchell back on May 18. It is an excellent example of just how fast these bikes are! I actually captured a Strava KOM (1 Mile Descent) without really doing anything but coasting. (May have...

    Vendetta V2 (Large) for sale

Probably a topic for a different thread - but yes I believe Mike is going for the 1 hour record, although not on a Cruzbike. :( I think he is going up for BattleMountain, and is trying to work this into it. Morciglio also lives nearby - and he of course made Mike's M1. If I had the money, I...

jon's v2 the second last yella story

Yeah Jon - Might as well go all the way - but will probably have to stay with "old yella" to be really color co-ordinated! BEEP BEEP!

jon's v2 the second last yella story

Yeah - that's what I'm talking about! I'll definitely have to get one of those - a REALLY BIG one too - making especially sure it is non-aero!

    Q ring upgrade - Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh......

No regrets at all Gary - I'll tell you all my secrets. The one you didn't mention: Ride like a "mad-man" (for about 100 minutes or more at or above your threshold limit) at least 3 days a week, with rest in-between days. Oh yeah - You also have to put some "cool decals" on your new deep dish...

    Q ring upgrade - Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh......

You've got it Gary, your set up on #3 on the big ring. If you're #4 on the small ring is directly behind the #3 on the big ring, then you are good there too. Hey, you're all ready for a ride now - lets me at the "super secret test track facilty" - 6am - manana!
