    Training advice

Mine is set up to where I can flex my ankle (extreme) and my thigh will barely touch the bar...it doesn't normally get that close. On my V2/k, my clearance is a bit tighter and if I grip the handlebar in the right place, my thigh will tap my thumb/fingers at every stroke. Sounds like you need...

    S40 chainstays for the V20

I've been trying to get the new chainstay for some time. Not sure if they're available as an accessory yet. I needed to move to a standard length chainstay on my V20 but never got a response from Cruzbike. Currently riding a "loaner" std. length chainstay of the old style. They're very busy with...

    What cycle computer for T50?

My Strada sensor was mounted down by the pedals (cadence and wheel sensor in one unit). Essentially the same on the V2/k as it would be mounted on the T50. The V2/k has a steel riser, etc. I'll take pix this evening. I never had any problems with it. You may have just gotten a bad unit...or...

This one is for those who purchased the Axiom rack for their T50s

The trick to finding rattles is to be methodical and unrelenting. Thick, black electrical tape is your friend. Stretch it hard and wrap tight every movable connection. If two pieces (struts, whatever) come within a popsicle stick of each other, wrap a layer of tape around each at the closest...

    T50 seat advice needed

I had to laugh when I saw the "marketing" quote about the T50 being like a "Model T". Anyone who has ridden in or driven a Model T will tell you that they were/are about as uncomfortable and intractable as they were revolutionary. Hmmmm. Perhaps the T50 is like a Model T! :D I have to keep...

What kind of attention does *your* bike get?

Today, a lady in one of the church parking lots (I scoot thru as the lot adjoins two major roads. Keeps me out of traffic...well, some of it) said, "Don't fall off that thing!" I was on my "Daily Driver" V2/k. The V20 gets a lot of comments, esp. from kids (who generally are not holding...

Help Needed for Century & 6-Hour record attempt

Yes. I tried that on my Conversion. I actually bought one of those Sturmey Archer S3X "three speed fixed" hubs. I only rode it for a little while, maybe putting 50 miles on it total. It was simply too much for me to manage (pedaling all the time), but quite doable otherwise. I didn't have any...

    Hydration options for T50

Ok, I demounted the TerraCycle "Fastback" bag from the V2/k and remounted to the T50. Match made in heaven, really. Fits right in the middle, no problem. I tied the top strap to the top bar of the seat stays and then wrapped the middle straps around the seat. The bottom strap went nicely around...

    What cycle computer for T50?

I have a Cateye Strada wireless on my V2/k...it has worked fine for years and years. I recently 'killed' the sending unit by snapping off the sensor arm. I would replace it but I've gotten to where I don't use it...I just track myself with my smartphone and read the results afterwards. On the...

This one is for those who purchased the Axiom rack for their T50s

Interesting. The rack mount eyelets on my Red T50 are not threaded. They are the correct size for tapping to 6 X 1.0mm, so I would assume that this is an "escape". OTOH, the untapped hole will accept a 3/16" bolt, so you could alternatively head to your nearest source of nuts & bolts and find...

    S40 questions

Like me, you are "bike poor". I really want an S40...but Miz Diane would likely swat me with a fryin' pan if I ordered one without down-sizing the herd first. I think my 'optimum' stable would be V20 + S40.

    S40 questions

The bike is too new, we just don't have enough info yet to tell. However, if you could hang with the TT guys previously, I can't imagine you'll be any slower...once you are assimilated to the position and needs of the bike. We had similar reports from the Silvio (that it was fast and comfy...

Yabbut, isn't that, like, next week for y'all?

    Thor's new Neckrest Comfort

Futile, of course. As much as I would like to play with a Thor seat, I'm still very comfy in the basic Cruzbike seat. Neck-rest, well that is a different issue. I'll have to order one from Greg!

    Hydration options for T50

I'll pull mine and hang it on the T50 this weekend as a demo, if you want. I think it would hang nicely from the middle of the seat-stay spreader and then angle in to the bottom of the seat. Should fit very nicely. On my Baron, I tied it to the headrest at the peak of the seat and then strapped...

    Hydration options for T50

I've been using the TerraCycle "Fastback" system for many years. Currently fitted to my V2/k 'daily driver'. I'll see if I can snag a pic or two of the current installation. http://t-cycle.com/fastback-hydration-packs-c-6/hydration-packs-c-6_38/fastback-70ls-hydration-pack-p-87.html Fastback...

    Thor's new Neckrest Comfort

Adjusting it fore and aft might be as simple as adding a washer or shim to either the top or bottom mounting point. As it is polycarbonate, it can be bent with heat (about 550F is needed), so you could reconfigure as well (heat gun probably would be best).

Help Needed for Century & 6-Hour record attempt

I still wish y'all would come down (or over, in Larry's case) for the Clarksville Sunrise Century (Sept 2, 2017) ...it was run in 3:43:41 back in 2014. Wasn't part of the UMCA and was done by a peloton of DFs. Still, it is a recumbent friendly event! Good luck, Larry!
