Color me confused. How do you plan on keeping the power triangle without a connection at E (which is part of Clamp B)? Unless...you plan on moving E to H? I would be surprised if the width of H matched the internal width of the fork @ E...but if it was close, excellent!

Yah, that's why I backed Xshifter. No more ratios to deal with...no more brifters or twists. Should be a far cleaner cockpit.

Clamp B binds the fork headtube and stem, keeping the fork from turning independently of the handlebars and transmitting torque from the power triangle thru pivot E and via the fork/chainstay/BB. The addition of Clamp G would similarly react torsion forces from handlebar to stem...but...

Yah, I'm running SRAM Rival 22 brifters and a GX 10sp rear D (on an 11sp cluster). They have the same ratios, work perfectly.

I have a tailbox, fitted to my V20. The box has two vertical grooves that the headrest tubes lie in. There's two aluminum clamping plates on the other side of the tube with a bolt thru the middle (between the tubes) of each. I can't take pix this week but if nobody else does, I'll do it as soon...

The torque forces from pedaling on a Q are xferred to your hands via the headset stem. The slip joint/clamp there is the weakest link (friction is the only thing keeping the handlebars in line with the system). Forces from the road are tiny (unless you're hitting a lot of ruts, etc.)...but...

I basically ignored the TRP HY/RD setup...where it uses the lockout nut to set them up. I imagine if I had a cable puller, that might work a lot better. Lacking a puller, I simply used a pair of small vice-grips and my eyeballs to adjust the cable 'endpoint' shorter than with the lockout...

I can see that...add a couple of weapons pods, cockpit greenhouse on left... I like that it is built out of flat stock. Makes it really easy to fab. I'd do it out of .032 aluminum.

Ooooh. Split clamps! Much mo' bettah. I'm still waiting for them to release this upgrade for the V20. With split clamps, I won't have to disassemble the crank & BB to do the swap! :emoji_thumbsup:
