Yet another "How about this for a donor?" photo- K2 Evo

You cant ask too many questions around here. The crossbar is kind of high on that bike.I would be looking at frames that have the crossbar below the bottom of the headset. Jack

    16" wheel conversion (f-frame moulton)

Its just the learning curve relax as much as possible.I did a Downtube NS with 20in wheels and it was stable enough even on 30 mph downhill runs. The first few rides on any bent can be a handful. How about some pictures. JACK

    Crash on a conversion

Sorry to hear of your crash but its sounds like a poorly adjusted derailer not the Cruzbike kit. I have at least 5000 miles on my Cruzbikes with just one small slide out my fault.I think the front wheel drive is much safer than rear wheel drive. Jack

    Why soft tail for conversion?

Check out my Giant conversion no suspension and it works great. Just look for a small frame donor. Plenty of pictures on the conversion brag board. Jack

    Did Some Climbing

I did some hill today 2 rode about 30 mi with grades up to 8% lots of 3-4.Tried to keep the speeds sane so was doing under 30 on the downhills. I think the hills build up endurance pretty fast. Jack

    Another great weekend of riding

Sounds like good weekend of riding I didn't ride too much but did ride up one hill I have had to walk before.Might be getting stronger as far as speed goes 25 on flat no wind never 30. I can only hold 18-19.Guess you will have to slow down next time we ride. Jack

    Silvio and Climbing

Do you mean really steep climbs?Under normal road conditions I only break the tire loose if I use too much power starting out on some steeper stuff.I dont get alot of that but do have plenty of lite sand especialy around the corners.I have yet to loose traction no matter how stupid I ride.Thats...
