Get the S40...then in about a year, when you have learned everything you need to know about CBs, sell it here and get the V20c. You will recoup most of your money from the sale. It happens all the time. Used S40s are easy to sell. ;)

If I'm not mistaken, it should be 27 degrees like the black versions. I don't think the angle changed until they actually came out with the S30. I think the S30 was 33 degrees (?).

This looks like it might be a good solution for Zwifting with the CB team. I wonder if it would work with discord? I hate having reach for my keyboard to hit a keybind button on my keyboard to speak. It's ackward.
