I have a stock 2021 S40 with SRAM Apex 1. I added 20mm pedal extenders (as a test). Cleared up my hip discomfort in short order.

I like this option however, the website states that it is for use with plastic bottles. I carry two thermal, steel, bottles and I don't think the thin straps will hold because my bottles have no indentations for the straps. I suppose this would work with the new Camelback thermal bottles though.
