Question: 2021 S40 adding a Thor Seat...How did you attach the seat at the top?

Thanks, Larry... I saw where you had done that... Here's hoping that something materializes in the very near future!

Question: 2021 S40 adding a Thor Seat...How did you attach the seat at the top?

This is what I did too... Has anyone tried modifying the 'support ribs' on the Thor seat by cutting small notches to allow for use of the stock half-moon seat attachment (see pic) designed for use with the stock seat? I'm wondering if doing so would significantly compromise the Thor seat?

Question: 2021 S40 adding a Thor Seat...How did you attach the seat at the top?

Question: 2021 S40 adding a Thor Seat...How did you attach the seat at the top? The ribs on the back of my Thor seat make it 'impossible' to use the OEM S40 seat attachment to secure the seat to the frame. I'd like to know what work around my fellow S40 owners have employed. TIA

    S40 Gen6 seat adjustment

Some have added 1-1.5 inches of padding to the front of the ventist pad. You can open it up, add the padding and use zip ties to close.

    New Cruzbike rider issues

If sliding forward is an issue, you can, if you choose to, open up the Ventisit pad at the bottom and add some yoga pad foam (~1-1/2 in) to the front lip of the Ventisit and then zip tie the Ventisit to close. The 'lip' will help to keep you from sliding.

Sticky Bottles Hold the Line Against the Chicks

You were very gracious in your comments regarding 'my efforts' (Its the last climb and the race is in the hands of Redline and Redline is ready.) Cannonball Greg did the majority of the work, then you, then me...way down the line. Redline was a good name though...my effort graph was mostly red...

For those who had hip impingement surgery (fai), are fully reclined bikes the way to go?

Not sure I can answer your question, but I developed pain in my left hip when riding my S40/V20 on my smart trainer until I added pedal extenders. No more pain since.
