    2024 Q45 creak

Check for the washers on the pivot clamp bolt, and make sure that sleeve is greased. This is in my experience the most common area for creaking where the washers are not correct:

    Different wheels

That should not be a problem at all. In fact that used to be the size before. Robert

    Thru axle tool

The end is a T40? Hmm I haven't seen that. I heave only ever seen the regular 6mm Allen version.

    T50 derailleur hanger?

Hey there - if you send an email to Katie at the support@cruzbike.com email she can set you up with a new hanger and invoice you for one easily - we have those in stock they just aren't listed on the site. Robert

    Baron seat on my V20

If you get hold of Bart at Ventist I imagine he can make one the exact size you need if he doesn't have some around that would work. He is awesome.

    Baron seat on my V20

Very nice. Fun fact - the curvature of our adjustable CF seat was modeled after that seat (with some tweaks)

    Q45 Build photos

Hmmm... I am a bit shocked (lol) that you would have so much sag with that psi - that said the replacements will be internal dampened (like the original versions we used to put on the Q's but a better quality version) and 1000lb - not a 1200lb like the stock external coil shock. The much older Q...

    Handlebar Options v20c

Indeed - the stock S40 and V20C bar is a wider version (2cm wider) of the Salsa Woodchipper 2. Any road bar with a 31.8 clamp area will work. There are a million bars through so it is impossible for us to even rationalize stocking any. The stock bar is very wide - probably too wide - for most...

With their adapter (SRAM 8 bolt) like the link below nearly any stock rings can be used: https://www.crodercycling.com/products/spirit-spider-5-arm They also have doubles: https://www.crodercycling.com/products/gearmate-chainring-standard-5-arm They have a 46/30 even.

Does anyone else have a design Wishlist for the next model of Q series?

Noted. I am sure that I will include this in discussions about what is to come. Its always a balance - sometimes (not for the Q series - yet) we have done mixes of frames/completes only to be left with tons of frames at the end that have a hard time selling... some years its the opposite and the...

    CRASH on my new V20c

YIKES! Avoiding dogs is a part of my ride routine but not the snarling type - usually just random ones on super long leashes that seek to jet across the road and clothesline me between them and their owner holding the leash. :(

Help me decide - Q45 vs Bachetta Giro

All true. And indeed I firmly believe that there is no 2 wheel recumbent out there that could out climb a rear (front) hub assisted Cruzbike. AWD will always win there. This little hill at the retreat was pretty slippery. Many tried. Only the T50e succeeded. I only had street tires (stock) on...

    Short crank questions answered here

The ring that the cranks come with is a smaller 38T ring - mostly aimed for the current set of Q45's and S40's where people want a bit lower gearing. The cranks are GXP 8-bolt standard though, so there are many options for other rings or doubles, etc. We will not be carrying those, but they are...

Cruzbike Quest 2.0 559 Replacement Headset

I assume that is has the "DiaTech" headset on it? If so - that is a wear item for sure and that headset is no longer made to my knowledge. Any standard headset (EC34) will work, but you will likely want to get as short of a stack as possible, as the steer tubes on the older bikes were...

    Short crank questions answered here

I would say that there is a bit of an adaptation period but for me it wasn't too bad. But I ride many different bikes that have cranks ranging from 145 to 155 to 165 to 172.5's and usually do not ride any one bike for extended lengths of time during the Sean... so I change up every ride or two...

Silvio Pictorial History - Request pics and info from the tribe

There only ever was 200 of those. I have one in my basement (the one Maria raced) and know where about half of them are in general... a classic.
