An S40 in China. Loving the bike :)

Very impressed and very adventurous. Don’t worry about that DF getting the better of you. Interesting to see modern day China. Thanks for posting and welcome!

    XShifter...new wireless shifting option

It's a case of being aero... the xshifter sticks out quite a bit. The boom is nice and wide so that why it's there. It's just that I don't want two of them hanging from the boom. It's not terribly heavy. Just big enough to make steering even more twitchy in a stiff wind.

    XShifter...new wireless shifting option

Is there anything on the market that will give a WiFi push button actuated front deurallier ? I can’t think of anything worse than another xshifter on the boom? Maybe a rotor hydraulic front deurallier might be an option but need to find out more.

Nice to see the year printed on it. It probably means the KOM challenge is here to stay?

    RojoRacing Video edits

Good filming Jason. Sorry about the rear tire. Strong group. 183bpm at the top of a 5%... almost blowing up time. 30 frame rate seems fine for my mobile

    bikist dog

I've been chased by 3 big dogs at 10 minutes to seven in the morning. There wasn't even a car around to help me. Just got to pedal like mad. Better to see the madness in the eye instead of looking at gnashing teeth

Is there another DavidCH. I looked at the whole 29 pages of this thread and failed to see that message you quoted from me

I wonder when the thread gets frozen..? Perhaps this is the last message.

    Road bike vs. recumbent comparison

Perhaps someone following this thread can tell me the secret to spin at 150 rpm ... I just keep on bouncing out of the saddle.

    Cruztrike???

Crazy... but feel compelled to mention it. Because a trike has 3 wheels you are legally entitled to 4000 watts of power. Guess when I am 80 I will still have a smile on my face.

    Road bike vs. recumbent comparison

Redefining the gold standard. The university of Colorado has an independent power meter calibration tool that could prove once and for all about this topic of going up hill on an MBB. If you watch the video you can see the bikes being tested on an incline. I think it's possible that their system...

Wasn't it this ride where you hit a bump and took air at 45mph just before a bend?

Considering giving Cruzbike a second chance...

Be like quite a few of us then. One DF to be with your DF mates and a cruzbike S or V and make them suffer. Sometimes I give them a chance and just restrict myself to the smaller chainring. Even then they have to hunt you down in 3s. (I have a V... I've never seen a V in a Crit race. I've seen...

Might be a good idea to bring things up to date with the T50. T50 sounds like a prototype name for a bike. 50 I guess is the seat angle and T perhaps for "transitional"? Anyways... to ride a V or an S you have start with a T. It would be interesting to have as I wouldn't mind teaching people...

    XShifter...new wireless shifting option

I had to rotate the boom mounting bracket 180degrees so that it could accommodate the xshifter. When I am happy with boom length I am thinking of securing the boom with a hole bolt setup so that it would cause the least amount of turbulence. Or I could take the black mount bracket off and file...
