Jeffrey R. Rick M, and myself all made it over to this event. It was very well attended with over 100 riders of many categories and ages. Some VERY fast riders too! Cruzbike was well represented with one S30 and 2 V20's. No other recumbent riders other than the 3 of us! This was a pretty tough...

Robert - Do you have power/speed data to compare the 185 miles in 2019 with the 234 miles in 2020?

Stop adding weight when you see the tires start to bulge (it's what I always did when loading gravel into the bed of my pick-up truck) - so it has to work! :rolleyes:

My results: I rode in sustained winds of 20mph (with gusts higher) - It was "a little" scary! :eek: - but I survived! Obviously more testing will be needed since riding in high wind does not yield great results - but that will have to wait until I return from my Skyline Drive -Blue Ridge Parkway...

Well, it ain't pretty - but it's ready for a test ride. Of course while mounting the seat and trying to get and headrest that was acceptable, I remembered why I have never really found a 3rd party seat that I liked more than the Vendetta stock seat: All other seats I have ever seen or tried are...

I am not sure if this model of Silvio has the lugs in the frame (front and back) for disc brakes. If you (plc2) can post a picture of the other side we can probably tell. A bike shop would need that info too.

He still rides his V20 a lot on Zwift - especially the TTT's. He just wanted to work on his upper body some.

Just about perfect conditions out there for me today - new PB too! Only 4 secs off of my all time best on my Magic- I am actually surprised I was able to ride as hard as I did - as I road a pretty hard Century on Saturday and thought I might have had more fatigue! Still sweaty humid here at 97%...

So funny - I also had an MI and M5 CHR with a Kent Polk Custom seat. I still could never get either of them to really go any faster than the Vendetta for me. They were all neck and neck! But I am short 5'7" and the other 2 are built for taller people. The foot strick and chain rub on them both...

No, it is not custom. I thought I would see how well this fit first before I ask Greg to make me a custom one. I am having a custom one made for Magic though - hoping to have it back in a week or so.
