    Road bike vs. recumbent comparison

Yeah - when you bomb down at 50+, it is amazing how much easier the next hill is!:D

    Strava on V20

I kind of doubt it, but would not rule it out. I am only training for 1 hour TT this year, so the only thing I would be good for would be the 1 lap, but I bet I would be able to crush it! Kind of a long way to go (and a bunch of $ to spend) for a 26 mile sprint. We will see - Maybe Cruzbike will...

    Strava on V20

Just don't look at nature too long, or you might be looking at Asphalt really closely.

    Road bike vs. recumbent comparison

Shows how different we all are. On the short hills that you say you loose to DF's I seem to excel. I can bomb down them so fast that I can almost carry full speed (or at least 20mph back up them). Obviously it depends on how short and steep they are. Anything over 6% that are longer than say 1/4...

    Crash due to flat tire

Sorry for you crash - I have had a few due to front flats. As far as your 50-tooth suffering some damage - This is a good excuse to get a 52 or 53 tooth now.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: Might as well make it a Q-ring too!

Elliptical chain rings don't work ...

I really just like the way the chain ring bounces up and down as I pedal. I gets me hypnotized and I am sure it makes me faster just watching it go up and down!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::oops:

    Cruzbike V 20 for sale

Sorry you are unable to ride it where you live. The only place I would think would be the North Pole. And even then I think I would stick in on the trainer. This is a fantastic price! It will not last long.

    The Cadence Conversations

Yeah - Once you can do 120 all day long, 100 feels like you are barely moving! btw - I am not there yet! haha - trying to keep it between 105-110 during training workouts. In reality it is really hard to keep it above 100 out in the real world for some reason.

Infinit 5 Hour Challenge Metric Century Race (Greenville SC)

I am going - it is a great event. You can show up anytime you want and ride whatever distance you want. It is worth the short drive jst to ride on these tracks even for an hour, especially since they cancelled the CMS TT for the rest of the year. They are also going to have another event at...

    Calvin's Challenge 2018

Great report Ken, and great ride and result. I have not ridden the new Calvins' route but I remember the "old" one well (50 mile loop on mostly "rough" roads. It is a challenge to keep 22-23 mph average for sure. I remember Billy V too. We duked it out in the last 12-hour in thunderstorms. I...

    Raven Rock Ramble, North Carolina

Hard ride. It was great to ride with Jim & Doug again too! Plus Jim keeps his KOM!!! Jim and I started many minutes or so after the main group thinking it would be motivating to try and catch everyone. Looking at Strava Flyby, it looks like we spotted them 3 miles, so 9 minutes at least since...

    Charlotte Time Trial Series #1

Thanks Kyle, Yeah - I was able to go a little faster I think as I become more familiar with the course and also re-aclimated to riding the Vendetta again outside. Last time was in Sebring and week after. Since then, pretty much only on the trainer. Odd thing was, was that I actually rode around...
