Oops, sorry, meant to post that to another thread.

Look out here come the Chinese

Cruzbike would have to use Marco's friend's racing-car process to do it. Would that be more expensive than the Taiwanese factory?

    My Experience Learning to Ride

Penny F is direct drive. There is a recumbent in which the cranks are attached to the front wheel via a Pinion gear or something. Cannot remember what it is called, but it is mentioned on this forum somewhere. Not moving-bottom-bracket. No-bottom-bracket.

Merry Christmas to all Cruzbikers from Downunder

Happy Christmas, Hanukkah, Winterval, John Lewis sales, whatever this day means to you. 10c and a bit of drizzle here on the Essex edge of London. Archetypal English weather. I do not know if there will be prawns, but there will be turkey, spuds and alcohol. And I say to you Ozzy lot...

Look out here come the Chinese

I also have to agree. The LBS and the supermarket and Alibaba will be selling them in the summer. We will be riding past people in the park, and they will be saying "look, one of those Chinese bikes. Oh no, my mistake, it's an Australian copy."

Continental Top Contact Winter tire review

I rode my Grasshopper in conditions like that, with Continental Contact. If it is really cold, like 3 below, the snow is so frozen that it is not slippery at all. Above freezing, the snow gets wet, and you fall over. Also, he is right about the car tyre-tracks. Cars drive through the snow...

Our Three T50 Builds, and Maybe a Sofrider Retro-fit

Drums and percussion. Bang it, shake it, scrape it, that's me. I used to be in an Afro-Latin percussion group, all acoustic, no amps, all percussion. I also played in a gamelan. I played the drums on a jazz course. I play the snare drum in a sort-of marching-cum-New Orleans style band that...

Awesome commuter suit bag Cruzbike compatible

I know I need to clean my bike, and I have mudguards. It looks as though you ride it. Actually, without mudguards that bag is going to get really mucky really quickly.

    Working with Carbon.

I made myself heel-clips out of toe-clips. This gives me a mid-foot placement with ordinary shoes.

    I love this bike

Don't say that. Some motorist might try it. "I will learn to ride this bike if it kills me." Don't say that either.

Explaining Learning to ride a recumbent to a world class DF rider who has doubts

Heed the word of ratz. Learn to go slow. You can choose to go as fast as you physically can, or choose to hit the brakes. You cannot choose when to stop. Then you have to get going again. High-speed control gets better as the mileage increases. Adjusting it to fit you is more important for...

    Stall speed of your Cruzbike?

That trike has a single chainwheel. What gears does it have?

    greetings and advice

I can take a bike apart and (just about) put it together again. Learning to do this was a long, slow process, one mistake at a time.

    Stall speed of your Cruzbike?

Not tuned? Tap my Silvio's frame and you get a concert A 440 Hz. Grasshopper is E above that. Don't ride over anything sharp or your tyres will go flat.
