Anyone planning on trying the M5 two-spoke wheels?

You want the new ceramic eye bearings. Get them at the LOS. Local Optician's Shop.

    Stall speed of your Cruzbike?

Don't get a trike. Get a two-wheeled thingy from tiltmaniac.

Welcome to the crazy, hip-swivelling world of MBB.

    Knee issue - need suggestions

I have 145 cranks from a company called Redline BMX. I got them from American Ebay. You get cranks and a BB axle, which you need because it is their own design.

    Stall speed of your Cruzbike?

I am talking about the Silvio. Actually I can go slower on the Grasshopper. I think it has less gear-inches.

    Stall speed of your Cruzbike?

I think higher cadence is more stable. I have a single chainwheel. I am in a dilemma about getting a smaller one. There are a few places where I would like less gear-inches on the way up, but I would spin out on the way down. Nobody tell me to get a double, because I hate them.

    Stall speed of your Cruzbike?

Probably 3mph on the flat, a bit over 4mph, and somewhat wobbly, ascending mountains. Only once has a mountain defeated me, but other people probably experience steeper mountains than I do. I have 145 cranks, and 42t at both ends of the drive-train.

    Blue and Gold ......

Cobalt, blue, graphite - but what would I do with them? After about 10 miles my Silvio was already covered in dirt, which covered up the scratches. I look at everybody's pictures of their beautiful shiny bikes and wonder how they stay so beautiful and shiny. Now my Silvio has home-made...

Amazing statues. My favourite is the grasshopper.

6-12-24 Hour World Time Trial Championships Perez vs the World

They look like treadless tyres. I did not know you could get treadless that wide. What is the elephant doing? That yellow guy looks uncomfortable. I wonder if his breathing is restricted. What is the apparatus under his handlebars? Jason knows about nasty neck stress because his headrest...

    Enough for a team yet?

Sorry, mansplaining all over the women's thread. Manthreadhijacking. You ladies don't understand mechanics and all that.

    Fun bike video thread.

How long does the back tyre last on a fixie?

    Enough for a team yet?

Even when she is bar-pulling, her hands are near the middle. She hardly touches the outer part. I think your arms give more power if your hands are in the position of holding a beer glass by the handle. Maybe she could try those MTB bar-end things and saw the drops off. Not really clear from...

    Enough for a team yet?

Jason is right. Why race on a Cruzbike without pulling the bars?

    S40- Wow!

That is impressive. I can probably do 7kph. Go as slow as you can. The kind of race I might actually have a chance of winning.

An interesting observation from learning MBB

I feel sorry for your wife. Does she mind being the stoker with someone who has forgotten how to steer? Salt already! London does not usually get that cold for another month.

    clutch derailleurs

I have XX1 derailleur and cog and these are the only ones of which I have a lot of recent experience. I have a wide-narrow oval chainwheel. Shifting is not noticeably better or worse than with a round one.

What did you do to your Cruzbike today?

I have no problem pushing my Silvio. Hand on boom, just in front of the steering axis. With both hands on the bars, one hand squeezing the front brake, I can pivot it about the front wheel. I, too, am better at being a parking coach than I am at dropping TT blokes.

6-12-24 Hour World Time Trial Championships Perez vs the World

In the kind of head I have, anything sounds clever. Donuts for Jason are like spinach for Popeye. He yam what he yam and that's all that he yam, he's Jason the biker man.
