Fit Issue (crank is offset 0.200")

The welds on the chainstay bb clamps will indeed hit some spiders - depending on the thickness of that area of the crank.

    Water Bottle Cages Under Seat??

Depending on the cage there is actually a space that allows for the use of a nylock nut there and there will not be interference with the bottle.

    Deep Rims

Sigh.... clinchers all the way please - especially on our bikes. I do NOT recommend anything but a good clincher rim on our bikes. Plus this has been tested and tested and tested and clinchers are actually faster anyway.

    Robert's V20 build

Dave, It takes a bit of pressure but yes you can just at an angle leverage out the stalk. That way you can pop it right onto the mount for the bar. Just be careful not to break the glass. Robert

Fit Issue (crank is offset 0.200")

The offset of the crank to the tube would be the same if the same cranks were on an upright bike. It is the same on the Q series as well (also the same on an upright)

    Get your light mount on!

Hmmm - let me look into that. Mounting straight to the brace is still good, but we have seen some lights that have clearance issues in there. Options are awesome! :-)

    QX100 Steering Mod

The sliders/front ends are not available separately for the V or the S. These items have been designed specifically to work with the geometry of their respective bikes. Modifying the QX100 to fit a setup like the V or S is basically modding it to be more like the geometry of the older 45 degree...

Will the S30's BB frame not accept 30mm spindle setups?

Elliot, Yes, the 30mm spindle cranks have much larger BB shells and they do not fit inside the ring clamps. Robert

Latex Larry and the case of blown out tire

http://www.bikeradar.com/us/road/gear/article/tubs-vs-clinchers-which-are-faster-45671/ Ill save you the 9 minutes: Clinchers are faster. Sorry. They are also less of a hassle BY FAR. Ugh.

    Get your light mount on!

In addition to the stock tab, check out our new chainstay light mount: http://cruzbike.com/light-mount This thing is super sturdy, looks trick, and adds another place to mount a light to your V. Robert

    serial number?

It should be on the underside of the BB at the boom.

    Must Start to finish

When I started on a Cruzbike (coming off of three years of near exclusive trike riding which will ruin your ability to balance a two wheeler and prior to that 3 years of high racer riding) I NEVER thought I was going to be able to go in a straight line, let alone dead start on a hill. Practice...

    The last V2k

A great one that works for that frame is the Topeak Beam rack - but only the "A" type: http://www.topeak.com/products/racks/mtxbeamracka-type

I sense a disturbance in the 3rd Law

I am very interested to hear how that front brake works once you get a chance to ride test it. Excellent diary!

    Silvio 2.2 frameset build questions

A 100mm extension would help for sure. The bottle there is touch up paint - but in my experience it rarely survives the journey from the factory. Robert

    New wheels for my V20

NICE wheels. That is the exact way I attached my Norback to my new V20 build - bolted it right to the seat after drilling a few holes. Works great! This allows me to leave the bike specific items in that bag and swap my scarab bag on/off different bikes and save it for commute gear. Robert
