So say we all. I went through loads of handlebar configurations. I tried downward bar-ends but they poked me in the legs and made turning really difficult. Admittedly the bar-end shifter made it worse. Now I have bars of my own construction with upward pointing ends.

This. @Rob Lloyd is ear-bleedingly clever. I do not think Cruzbike mind you posting here. You are not undercutting them. Nobody wants to see my shed.

In two sections, so the front part can turn with the steering. You do not have to think about that on most recumbents. The front mudguard on my Silvio looked like yours. The BB and the chainwheel were getting plastered. So now it has one that goes all the way under the BB.

Nice video. Your microphone picked up lots of male voices on the Women's Day ride. What do you call that? Manriding? Manrando-ing? What did they think of your bike? There are no other 'bents on camera.

Everybody is talking about a clean drivetrain. Has anybody heard of mudguards? I wonder if they might help?
