    Each one teach one

I am interested in other tribe member's experiences with introducing cyclists to the Cruzbike. Have you managed to convert any diamond frame or recumbent rider to the FWD, MBB platform? I have had very limited success in this area. Some riders may show a bit of curiosity in my bike but don't...

Love to get a Vendetta but?

What Joy said... I'll be 74 soon and I love fast cruising, in the high teens, low to mid 20's, on my Vendetta. It's especially fun if I have a road biker behind me trying to hang on - watching them in my mirror as they get as low as they can on the drops in order to cut down the wind resistance. :D

Love to get a Vendetta but?

My Vendetta is faster than any of my previous recumbents - Burley Django, Rans Stratus XP and Lightning P-38.

Hit a nerve with this guy on youtube comments

As I say to people who cast a skeptical eye at my Vendetta "There is no downside to fast AND comfortable".

    Buying a Silvio 1.0

I took my Silvio 1.0 out for an overnight, non supported camping trip to Willamette Mission state park which is 20 miles north of Salem, OR. I have never done an overnighter on any of my Cruzbikes so this is a first. I had a rear rack that I modified some to fit as close as possible to the seat...

    S40 Handle Bar Question

I've said this before and it might be of help. For better grip on the bars try a pair of light weight, full fingered cycling gloves. I like the kind without the gel padding.

    Buying a Silvio 1.0

I have a 1.0 that I purchased slightly used about 3 years ago. It's a pretty good little bike. I just had it out yesterday for a 40 miler and did a 55 mile ride on it a last week. I have it set up with fenders so I call it my foul weather and social bike. It is not as comfortable or fast as my...

    Chain coming off chainring

Had this happen on my Freerider. I took a couple of links out of the chain and that stopped it.

    Question for the older riders

My Vendetta has made me a faster rider at age 73 than I was 30 years ago on my Italian road bike.

    Newbie Questions

Rick, I forgot to mention that I find that wearing full finger cycling gloves helps maintain my grip on the bars. During the summer I wear light weight ones with no extra padding.

    Newbie Questions

That's interesting chicorider. Robert Holler told me to treat the handlebars as if one were doing isometric exercises although I can see how these two pieces of advice can be complimentary though I would substitute green bananas for ripe ones :) I took it to mean to have a firm but not overly...

    New T50 Build

I don't see any instructional video on climbing technique. Actually I don't see how a video would be of much help. I think climbing prowess develops when one becomes comfortable with the bike and is able to put full power to the pedals and still keep steering in a straight line. Practice...

    New T50 Build

After learning how to pedal & steer the Cruzbike, learning how to climb hills is the next learning curve. This has been my personal experience and my observation when introducing others to the FWD, MMB platform. I think some of the problem is initial reluctance to commit oneself to utilizing the...

    Fun on the V

So I went out with the group of semi fast riders last Saturday for my 2nd ride since having 2 surgeries for bladder cancer. This was a hilly ride to Kings Valley, a little community tucked in the Oregon Coast Range foothills. The first big climb was Wren Hill on Hwy 20 just west of Philomath. I...
