    How much for older q45?

I didn't notice anything wrong with it. But if you check elsewhere on this forum you will find a suggested upgrade for the shock from another manufacturer which you may want to consider, as it is also lighter.

    How much for older q45?

I test-rode that bike, but decided not to buy it. I think for a few hundred less it is a good deal. I don't have a problem with his 3D-printed clamp, it seems OK to me. I think those clamps are supposed to be tightened with a torque wrench.

V20 for sale in Southern California - SOLD

Right, even Oakland is a little far to drive. And it's pretty difficult to be in Bali at this time. On the other hand, if you are interested in a swap for my S30, we might work something out.

New trainer => lower power readings

I just replaced my first-generation Wahoo KICKR with a Neo Tacx 2T. I am disappointed, but not entirely surprised, to find that my power is 10-15% lower than Wahoo was reporting. The first-generation KICKR's are known to have accuracy issues, and the Neo is reportedly pretty accurate, so I have...

How do you make a workout fun?

I believe that some people think it's kind of a cheat, taking advantage of the sticky draft characteristics. It doesn't bother me. I've tried it, but don't find it appealing. But I expect that in a TTT your team members might find it more difficult to match in the paceline...I don't know, since...

How do you make a workout fun?

This is a fairly well-known tactic. Some frown on it, but you're also taking a risk of being at the rear when a breakaway splits off. It's not suitable for a TTT, but maybe for a big race with a big blob.

Dialing in fit on a V20

Just leave plenty of slack in the cables for now. Ride the bike for a while, until you are satisfied with the position. Then go in once and shorten the cables so that they look better.

    Race number 74 up next

I have also been out because of air quality. Maybe next week.

    New S40 owner

I have a 47.5" Xseam and long arms. I have the long chainstay, and I think that you definitely need that. Even so, it wasn't very easy finding the right position for the handlebars. Bringing them back far enough so that my thighs don't hit them means that the arms are far from extended the way...

    Shh! the Plan

I did the same race as @benphyr and @RojoRacing with 5 people in my B group after the selection. Times for Just the Loop were 13:35, 13:53, 14:24. I found the climb to be not to0 hard, averaging 3% grade with a couple of short breaks. I was able to stay with the lighter riders, and found the...

    Cruzbike Time Trial Challenge 2020

I've been at the same FTP for about 5 months. I'll admit, it's kind of frustrating. I was hoping that the training schedule I had was going to be enough to get me up to 4.0 w/kg, but it looks like it won't. I think after this TT series is over I'll need to switch into an interval program, since...

Team Results and a big surprise

I have had a difficult time getting my Discord setup on my phone working. Last Thursday I had 3 sets of earbuds/mics, one wired and 2 wireless. None worked well. This week I'm switching to a USB headset running from my computer running Discord instead of the phone. Hopefully this will be the...

Team Results and a big surprise

@RojoRacing , Dan has been on Killer Bees for awhile, but he took several weeks off to race some local criteriums. I'm surprised to see him back this early, actually.

Team Results and a big surprise

@LarryOz , if you're not already on an ATP team this week, we have room for one more on the Killer Bees. Should be faster this week -- I'm the weakest on the team.

Team Results and a big surprise

I think I'll give that a try. I'll get a better workout and the team should be faster.

Team Results and a big surprise

I'm not really having. a problem with names. We just go in the order people are listed in Discord. I have that running on my phone, so all I have to do is look at the list to see who is next. It was kind of funny, but in this race I quickly had the order memorized and could call people up...

Team Results and a big surprise

We were doing the same thing on the Killer Bees. We got off by 30 seconds, so I ran a few people on the 30sec mark, then took an extra 15 seconds myself and asked our other big guy to do the same. But by the time that happened we were getting toward the end when the rotation tends to get aa...
