I have the Thor carrier seat with thick Ventisit pad for my S40, more support than stock seat, especially in shoulder area. I tried the stock seat with and without a wedge of foam, I would slide down a lot. If you fit a carrier seat I would recommend for the comfort.

Replaced the stock seat on my new S-40 with a Thor Carrier Seat, made my ride much better. The stock seat just didn't fit my body, and I tried to adjust to it, but was very uncomfortable for me. The Thor Carrier supports all of my back and neck with no headrest.
