    S30 fork spacing

As I remember, by the time the S30 was released, we had gone to 132.5 mm front fork dropout spacing, so that the fork would accept either 130 or 135mm hubs... so a 130mm hub should fit fine.

    Freerider steering broken

I think I have one of the original stems. I'm not at home, but will look when I get back (later this week.) Do you still have the fork from your stratus? If it's a 1 1/8 steerer, I'll trade you.

Questions about upgrading S30 to disc brakes

I recently put HY/RD calipers on my SV2.0. I am using Ultegra brifters and they don't really play well with non-Ultegra brake calipers, and certainly weren't happy with the Avid Road BB5 disc calipers I was using. The HY/RD cable-actuated hydraulics are a revelation. Solid response, but easily...

Need help raising Frankenbike from the grave

I've built a lot of Frankenbikes. If you could post a photo, it would help. (I realize that's not too easy on this board...)

    26" wheels on S40

Hi, On some of the earlier bikes, and on the V20, for example, going to 26" from 700C wouldn't buy you anything, because the fork narrowed about half-way up for aerodynamic purposes. If you look at the S40 product page, you can see that the S40 fork is straight-legged, not narrowed. So you...

Play in headset on T50 - how to adjust?

I would consider the headset bearing adjuster (below the problem solvers clamp in your photo) to be upside down, but as a practical matter it probably doesn't matter. Loosen the small allen head screw in the adjuster, hold the top half of the adjuster stationary, and rotate the bottom half...

    T50 Beach Bike

Did not mention - I used a SRAM PG1150 chain, 120 links. Works really well with the huge cassette and the M8000 derailleur.

    S40 Roadie

Very nicely done. I like the color additions you made. Gray makes an excellent "canvas" to add bold highlights to. I am almost finished with my T50 beach bike, where I used a 1x11 setup with a 42t Cruzbike e-ring chainring with a Sunrace 11-50 eleven speed cassette. I'll be interested to...

T50 - The Parts Piddle Thread

Okay, I guess I'm losing it. I'm excited about a kickstand. I bought the T50 kickstand from Cruzbike. It is REALLY nicely made. No worries about this one buckling, that's for sure!
