    Newbie with shoulder pain

A few suggestions from my memory of riding my Sofrider: - Rotate the handlebars so the ends point as much downward as possible. It looks like they are pointing a bit backward towards you. This should unkink your wrists a bit. - If your stem is adjustable, point it as forward as possible to...

    "The New Silvio is Coming"

I see some carbon weave texture on the side of the seat.

    "The New Silvio is Coming"

What devilry is this? https://www.facebook.com/cruzbike/ Looks like no rear suspension, which may have advantages. Also, Charles pointed out knobby tires. Will we get a Vendetta with a higher seat angle and more tire clearance? Maybe a revision to the BB ring clamps? What else? My Silvio...

Neophyte in need of Vendetta V20 setup help...

Sounds like you are a candidate for either a curved sider or maybe a longer chainstay.

T50 - whatcha planning to build.....

Maybe the offset is small enough to not matter in practice, but unlike the Vendetta and Silvio where the chainstay pivots around the front wheel axis, the chainstay pivot on the T50 appears to be a bit in front of the dropouts, which means the effective chainstay length will change a bit with...

Try reversing the handlebar stem to match?

    Falling over

Have you tried sitting up when you slow down? I find it much easier to control my balance that way. It's also easier to see traffic.

    S30 Rear Triangle Noise

John Tolhurst (who designed the suspension) said it could go in either direction. I wouldn't worry about that. Looks to me like the TI spring doesn't line up with the frame, as you said. Is the carbon fiber stay bent at all? In your first photo it almost looks that way, but it's probably just...

    Q ring upgrade - Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh......

Assuming the pedal is in your dead spot the big ring looks pretty good. Before you were about 90 degrees off.

A few questions about the Silvio & Vendetta

I don't see why. The stock Silvio used to have a lower BB because the chainstay was shorter. Now the Silvio and Vendetta appear to have the same chainstay, so I would expect the BB height to come out about the same.

    Getting Off the Fence

FYI, the newest Silvio does not have a front suspension.

Replace a Rival front derailleur with a Force 22 with yaw?

FYI there's also a Rival 22 Yaw, if you don't want to pay for Force. I believe the differences are only cosmetic. I upgraded my 10 speed Rival setup with the Yaw FD and it works great.

    Uh oh...V20 back in stock!

Another idea to open up the cockpit would be to use a medium chainstay instead of the large (of course this would lower the BB).

    Silvio

Same experience here. I gave up, it just didn't feel safe. I am now using a hose and bottle system (which is a bit low on capacity).

    Recumbent Newbie

For my bike this is about greasing the boom, slider and associated clamps, but unfortunately there are many possible causes.

has anyone tried bars like this?

Many of us seem to prefer our arms extended straighter than this.

silvio 1.0 derailleur hanger poor fit issue

    New frame

Not without replacing the rest of the frame or degrading the handling.

    I cut the boom

I'm a little confused by this. The end of the boom is where the horizontal section of the handlebars clamps. Its position should be determined by thigh clearance. Therefore chest clearance should be the same for drop bars, straight bars, or bullhorns. The only difference between those bars...

    Headache from riding V

That looks like a fair amount of knee bend. Is your left leg fully extended here? Have you tried a longer boom setting?
