    Silvio 2.2 frameset build questions

The bottle should be touch up paint. The other bits -- I never used them but there may be appropriate cabling situations for them.

    Creak in V20 front triangle

In the past, standard bike grease inside the clamps (boom and slider) has helped me with front triangle creaks.

    V20 Sizing Question?

Cruzbike offers pre-built bikes which require fitting measurements, in addition to framesets.

    Boom - QX100

If I had more room in my apartment entryway, I'd buy one for zipping around town. The color options are very welcome.

    Considering shorter cranks advice wanted.

Are they the newer four bolt style cranks? I believe with those you have to order compatible Q rings, and the adjustment options are very limited and might not work out on a recumbent.

    S30 v2.2 flute-like woo-woo sound

I wonder what that hole is for? Di2 or water drainage maybe? My Silvio doesn't have it.

    Spam problem

On the other hand, the anti-spam filtering on the old forum was pretty annoying. I was blocked from posting or editing many times, and forced to count down the seconds until I was allowed to try again, often to be blocked again for no apparent reason. It would be nice if the manual process for...

    New Cruzbike.com launching soon

On my iPad I have to tap links twice (because the iOS browser interprets the first tap as mouseover if there is a mouseover behavior, and the second tap as an actual click). I'm also not liking how the Forum link on the home page opens a new browser tab, which applies to mobile and desktop. By...

    Starting and stopping

Another bit of advice: pay attention to what gear you are starting in. I prefer to start in my lowest gear (34x32) because it requires a less violent push on the pedal. If your gearing is much lower, you will get wheel slip. Before you give the pedal a push, practice rocking the bike...

    Silvio build roadblocks

My Silvio 2.0 is the same way, no hex socket on the keyed end of the bolt, just a round hole.

    Steering damper/stabilizer

Interesting, mine feels totally balanced when I lift it by the handlebars, but we do all load our bikes up differently. When I pick up the bike to put it on a repair stand, I use one hand on the top of the headrest bar and the other on the section of the boom between the handlebars and the fork...

    Steering damper/stabilizer

I also carry my Silvio up and down stairs. I pick it up by the handlebars (with two hands of course) and it's pretty easy to carry, I can get the back to swing a bit by tilting the bike but it's not a problem. How do you pick it up?

Wow that's a lot of riding! I wish I could make that much time.

    I cut the boom

I can't quite imagine gripping the bars in that position, looks like it would require a lot of bending or hunching of the shoulders, elbows, and wrists. Could you post a photo with you on the bike?
