Is height an issue on the V?

Oh yeah.... I had a DF hanging on my tail for about 4 km last year doing 41 kph. I was amazed. He couldn't do anything except staying in my draft. He didn't give up until the round about/circular.

I get to 110 rpm and I'm doing 42kph and start to have twinges of fear. Basically my boom is just a little too far out. If you feel that way don't push it but adjust it. The objective is to be happy doing 120 rpm

    1X Drivetrain

On my Vendetta. I have a one speed drive chain using one of those stone oval rings. It works well but I do miss the QXL Rotor chain ring. I just have been reading about the rear deurallier Shimano ultrgra Rx that has an in built clutch. It's meant for rough terrain chain chop but I suspect it...

Who has both bikes: V20 and S40

S40 is more upright. If I had one I would try and make it into a velomobile

    Upgrade to T50?

I second that, best to change your chains once a year otherwise cassettes and chainwheels and chains will cost more. Come to think of it, the next time I change cassettes I might go for the di2 titanium cassette. It's lighter and will be more durable. (Just started to get chainslip going up...

    Longer Chainstays

For a person 5'10 with a long chainstay I am noticing tiredness in my quads. Now if I were to raise the seat up an inch and put the boom out by a centimetre that could be the winning ticket. Not sure if performance is better with a larger chainstay. I will fine tune the bike for another week...

Q45 - Has anyone tried Sram Eagle GX 10-50?

Gosh ... I have such distant memories of my triple . I used one on my cruzbike conversion bike. It's still old and dirty in a plastic bag. Good job that bag doesn't disintegrate. I couldn't believe I rode with that... it was so heavy and with a twist grip. Just wondered what the lightest triple...

New To Cruzbike and your T50?

No idea... I just put my requirements into Google and out popped this in images-> view all. I guess if you wanted fat tires like that you would have to swap out the front forks and find a solution for the rear triangle. It's on eBay...

New To Cruzbike and your T50?

Anyone done a build like this? I like the idea of renting bikes on beaches. People don't mind falling on sand when they learn.

Hi! New To Cruzbikes & Trying to Decide.

Hi... It will make you feel like a kid again. It's an incredible experience. So low and so fast... well that's the Vendetta. Try and borrow/rent a cruzbike for a week and get the S40 frameset. Think big. You'll get more out of it. :cruzbike::cruzbike::cruzbike:

My first S40 Audax this weekend

Good question. To that I don't know. This was an airbnb place I rented. I wouldn't usually set up my bike in the kitchen. Something like that could get out of hand with the Mrs.

My first S40 Audax this weekend

If I extend my arm straight my hands are extending the levers by half a palm. When first starting there was the idea of having straight arms until tendon issues (tendernitus left elbow/forearm). My hands aren't on the levers all the time. You just want a lose hold unless going up short hills...

My first S40 Audax this weekend

My current settup is different to this. The bars in the last shot were the 3T aluminium base bar. The one I have on here are even more aero, faster and lighter. But in carbon. It was also a hack to install as it had to be filed down just a little. It's just one speed as I'm waiting for xshifter...

For a long ride I sometimes put pressure on the pedals and lift the small of my back off my seat as though I was going over a bump. I find these elevates tensions enough for me.

Chain WAXing (yes it's that easy) - and other mysteries of this art!

How many watts do you save with that? I just watched a video saying if you swap out your quick release skewer for the likes of some pinhead aero skewers you can save the likes of 1 watt.
