Axiom Journey 2429 Rack for Silvio 2.0

I would think that something I would think that something like this: Or even something like this: could be made to work on the Silvio. I'd probably go with the first if it were me.

Is the Silvio 2.0 out of Beta Yet?

The whole reason to go to The whole reason to go to 650b is to go wider. From Eric's post: Given that the radius of the rim is smaller (584 compared to 622 for a 700c), this should allow a shorter, wider tire. It would be great if we could get a head-on shot of the Silvio v2.0 fork...

Is the Silvio 2.0 out of Beta Yet?

650B on a Silvio Given the hubs needed, it's likely that you'll have to get wheels built yourself, so you ought to be able to get good 650B wheels. Tire choices is a real issue; I'm not familiar with what choices there are in 650B tires. If the right choices are there, then it's a...

Is the Silvio 2.0 out of Beta Yet?

Three comments: 1) I Three comments: 1) I completely agree with you, pRC, I wish the Silvio allowed wider 700c tires. It might (somewhat) when you use disc brakes and using 650 wheels with disk brakes isn't a crazy idea at all. 2) I do agree that getting an exact idea of how many...

    On Giatex folding bikes

i don't think your too far i don't think your too far off in your observations. I don't think you could get the seat entirely mounted on the rear piece. A lot of bike Fridays fold only the rear wheel, so only having that fold wouldn't be bad and you wouldn't need to muck with the sear...

Is the Silvio 2.0 out of Beta Yet?

Now, before all the defenses As far as I'm concerned, the content of the original post was good. It does make sense to talk about what problems there still are and find out as much as possible what you are really in for. As I think is very often demonstrated on this forum, you can...

Is the Silvio 2.0 out of Beta Yet?

Hi pRC,The bulk of your post Hi pRC, The bulk of your post is fine. You are asking whether or not specific issues that have come up have been resolved or not. That's perfectly reasonable. The fact that you come from software in some sense explains a lot. If there's a bug, you fix...

Is the Silvio 2.0 out of Beta Yet?

Hi, I would maintain that Hi, I would maintain that your original question as whether or not to classify the Silvio as a "beta" release or not isn't appropriate for small term production. Given the production sizes, there are always going to be issues and feedback from customers to...

    Introducing the Cruzigami Mantis

If speed is nearly identical The Sofrider is a good choice, but I'll just point out (because I like being pedantic :)) that I could probably get as much cargo on my Mantis as the Sofrider. I chose not to install a permanent (non-seat post) rack on the Mantis, but I could. And on both the...

    Introducing the Cruzigami Mantis

Hi, Mostly the tires on my Hi, Mostly the tires on my Sofrider. I changed them from 100 PSI Maxxis Detonators with anti-puncture tire liners to 95 PSI Schwalbe Kojaks without and I gained 1.5 MPH average speed on my Sofrider. It's now pretty much a toss-up as to which bike is faster (I...
