Velogical Rim Dynamo audax u not.

I see shimano too are making 1.5 watt dynamos now. I think the son hubs still lead the pack in terms of expense and generally good experience. But sp and shimano make great and cheaper alternatives. I went Schmidt SON because I had no option for my gto trike.

So no problems then. Thanks lol. Snilard I spoke via email with owner of company. Like you I thought mount front fork but no the position for vendetta “is on rear “so I have mount coming for rear. Yes the exact orientation of dynamo is critical. I expect some noise in accord with my research...

Ixon iq premium Exposure Strada 1200 road. Chinese magic shine 808 are the battery lights I have. The b&m ixon iq premium is the best as it allows aa battery x 4 recharge or alkaline. The others have degraded battery packs over summer due to nil use. The exposure was great till it was stolen...

Yes I read varying reports on noise generation. The sport model is for higher speeds. Most reports I found seemed positive. And compared to the old bottle or b&m effort it is quiet. I don’t think it will be as quiet as my Schmidt hub on my gto greenspeed though

    Climbing hills on a V20?

Lifting your buttocks off seat. Swinging that boom. Upper body bridging effort. Tucking your arms in and closing your mouth from all that panting. Inching forwards and backwards rigid ankle anklin. Power metering chicken legs. We are so lucky to have such a great bike to apply ourselves to in so...

    V20 Gold!

I can’t pull or replace a bottle reliably Leg interference was an issue for me on front boom with standard round bidon 500 to 750 mm. Aero bottle and holders provide more room with lower capacity. But for me I settled on dip tube and aero bottle options. I just drilled a standard bidon and used...

    The Cadence Conversations

Ratz you nailed it. I too on trainer have a higher cadence than on road. I put that down to variability of the road. And yes as I start to tire the cadence ....heck everything slips. To a self selected 70 75. I use 172.5 and 175 mm cranks. I think shorter cranks on the flat would be good...

    Lightweight sprocket cassette for S40

I have a SRAM 1099 one solid disco dancing billet bling cassette that I fitted once to the v to complement her SRAM redness. But it got a little dirty and that won’t do for a work of art . My wife forbade it. Now it’s in the bike draw of bling where occasionally the cave is basked in its...
