Velogical Rim Dynamo audax u not.

Final thoughts for now. I would recommend this dynamo for fast light weight weeny audax night riders not necessarily looking for on board charging electronics during day or whom are easily distracted by a pleasant hair dryer on low in the next room sound. So predominantly or exclusively a...

Dynamo position close to brake pad but clears with 2-3 mm. I guess aero position could be used.

I’ll try. I did not drill frame any new holes but enlarged the brake cable boss for rear caliper at front. Seems to be aluminium not plastic. What a great frame. From dynamo I followed stay and over Velcro seat pan. My seat is bolted down front rear. The seat hides wiring unless you turn...

There are photos on strava No the variable resistor is a high wattage bulb so as not to fail and visually the element barely glows at 35 much more than an indicator light. I’ll try upload some photos later.

My review. I fitted the dynamo to the rear running wiring through frame. I store pedalpal sic in frame bag. The clearance for dynamo was tight. I use ultegra caliper not in the aero position. Couple mm clearance using large o ring. So not for dirt roads. I can’t comment on how it will fair...

    It has became normal

Nobody else took the time to think smarter. go team cruzbike. Oddly enough I have found some of my fellow bent riders to be the most polarised brand loyal brand hating nepotistic twats. Human nature lol.

    S40 Roadie

Gee the s40 is a great looking machine. Luis she looks great. Makes me really really want one. Doug you are right about the canvas. Whilst the 1 x 11 and no doubt soon available on roadies a 1x12 looks so fantastically clean it is a compromise in terms of stepped changes. This is what the 3 x...

    Mounting a USB werk

Yes I’m fitting Velogical Dynamo to v20 and using same cable route as Bill k (nice job bill) except that I’m Going to drill stem cap rather than frame. And enlarge rear brake front entry though I’m concerned about rubbing. That’s the plan. ,.....lol. Rear light sticking with battery. Cheap...

The compact chainring front mech issues thread

It’s a bugger that this is your situation. I’ve run a 53 and now a semi compact with nil issue. I’m betting the company is on to it but that is not helping your issue. I hope your less than spec fitting of your front mech proves as reliable as needed.

    Hand fatigue

My position on hoods is most arm extension with only a slight bend in elbow where as drops are closer and provide more elbow bend equals relaxed.

    S40 Build

Smicko great makes me want one. One thing cabling to rear brake etc why did you not thread it through steerer clamp at headset to tidy it up? Take a look at a few other build pics. I have vendetta........so...... I’d be calling her limesplice after my favourite ice cream

Our Three T50 Builds, and Maybe a Sofrider Retro-fit

Ouch that’s unlucky but it’s better than the deer is doing. You have to laugh otherwise you’ll cry. . The settlement will happen despite the legal beagles hungry bark. Time. Hang in there . Your excellent ideas and cycling with your children is beyond luck. Order the stuff on line and...

Our Three T50 Builds, and Maybe a Sofrider Retro-fit

More than 80% of greenspeeds have been sold in America according to Ian simmo Sadly like cruzbikes they are no longer made in aus since we don’t make much anymore. But they are still here thank god for Parker’s. Love my aus made gto. You don’t need 81 gears. Toss em all and fit mtb triple...

    Hand fatigue

For me personally on hilly terrain I can still experience sore hands. That is because of the higher effort to climb requires active steering input. You have though choices you can pull back same side on power stroke or push opposite side. In reality I do both at high wattage but below 200watts I...

Merits of touring on a s40 over v20

In the 25 litre combined banana race bags I fitted tent one man air mattress down quilt clothing all ultralight gear. But....... its a compromise. A fast compromise. Have space will fill. Lol

Merits of touring on a s40 over v20

Horses for courses I reckon. I have slung radical design banana race bags 25 litre on the vendetta with camp equipment so it is capable albeit not ideal. I’ve not ridden s40 but am often drooling over the pictures. The s40 screams I am versatile. The vendetta screams weeeeeeeeeeeeee very fast...

Velogical Rim Dynamo audax u not.

I’m only running one light the iq x. 100 lux off dynamo and maybe I’ll fit a pedal pal sic........... I’ll run wiring inside frame. Don’t want to drill holes though . Even disc brake rims have generally a flat surface. Ogando claims slippage is no issue. I reckon your dynamo position is fraught...
