    The flop

Falling off a DF on a recovery ride is worse than falling off the vendetta at race speed. I have done both. Pretty sure I cracked a rib as I can't laugh. 3rd day with a juicy elbow and a swollen right hand. So how could I avoid it? I had a tubeless front that sort of flatted but gave out when...

    New build: S40 2020

52 is overkill surely? Couldn't you get off and walk faster? Probably good if you were touring with lots of weird bags and a tent. That 10t must be something for sure Never tried a 52t so sorry for my derogatory statement

I realise that I value that wahoo elemnt so much that I am debating buying a packet of apple Air tags, they might be thin enough that I can stick an air tag on the back. Having the elemnt on the bike again probably would stop me as I generally like my heart rate to be lower than 170 bpm.

Beware though... you need to use it with a hydration tube bite grip. Instead of wearing an over the top TT helmet mid summer, you can use it with a very light well ventilated helmet. Just a little bit larger helps the air flow.

    Tubes or tubeless

Pay more for drag and you can't pump them up to 100psi ... pirelli pzero seems impossible to buy with a high price. I like the pirelli cintura velo 26mm... seems like puncture proof and with an inner tube you can pump it up until your rims smash. All weather tire that will not deflate, grip and...

Well, things are improving. Getting even more into riding my vendetta. I bought a skinsuit from aliexpress and it came with a thick pad. I practiced key hole surgery on the pad and it ended up like plucking a chicken... but it's certainly an improvement. So hydration for me is ultra important...

How to make your Vendetta as fast as possible

I have some monokote to finish off a wheel project that has a tubular tire but it's not rimbrake so I have an issue of finding the correct adaptor mount for the rear disc caliper. What glue are you using and how long do you wait for the glue to cure?

How to make your Vendetta as fast as possible

Just buy one, find a big plastic for house sale sign. Spray paint it black and cut to the same size as the aero jacket. Just saved you 50% of an aerojacket bill.

    Lower leg pain--outer calf

Well , my bet was let the boom out a little and adjust the cleats. Probably add foam for shoulder and lumbar support.

"I can't believe you did all that on a recumbent."

You seem fearless too. That top speed is like crazy. If I was going that fast , I think I would be very nervous in using the brakes. LOL That ride is worth bragging rights... you ought to be on the blog. That's 10 hours in the saddle. That is a ride of a lifetime. I can't believe you just did...

    V20 out of stock?

Yea but that v20 you want to get , won't be as slick as that S40 right? Probably best we all wait. Even put the order in for the new v20 now. After what Jim said about the S40 frame front triangle being firmer with those new axles.... everyone will want one

    SRAM 2x11....Help!

Pictures speak a thousands words... post a photo so we can see the alignment of the cage with the first sprocket. This is interesting for me as I was thinking of using a sram derailleur recently
