    SofRider Bottom Bracket Replacement?

68mm English thread. The BB you use will be dependent on the cranks as well - and for a square taper it needs to be the right width. If you are keeping the same cranks make sure to match the spindle width (I cant recall what it was stock off hand) Robert

    grippy s40 (2020) tires

Most people run WAY too much pressure - in whatever tires they have. I have seen many where I was shocked they hadn't blown off the rims already. More is not better.

    Steerer tube ..

Shoot me an email at support@cruzbike.com - that needs to be replaced.

    grippy s40 (2020) tires

I will agree with this statement and it should be taken as just a fact - some roads will do in just about any two wheel recumbent if they are too slippery and it won't matter what tires you are using. Where I live about this time of year there are so many leaves - that once they rot a bit and...

The most powerful recumbent WTRL TTT assemblage evaaah!

That Richmond course just about did me in. The upped average for the A pen race about had me at the breaking point - but good times still! FTP increase as a result... (not sure that's a good thing?) haha

Michelin Endurance are the grippiest tires I have ever used.

    Cruzbike S40 in Nairobi, Kenya!

After watching that video I do not want to get another phone call - ever - where there is a complaint about "the bike" not being able to keep a straight line when there is traffic. Like ever. AWESOME video!!!

    The Champions

Ahhhhh I would love to recon but will not be able to be there for that again - simply too much going on in the later afternoons for me early in the weeks. :-( Robert

Disc wheel with disc brake, not rim brake?

This is possible - they need to usually be custom made though to be strong enough for a disc vs rim brake. Hard to find off the shelf - if not impossible. Robert

1st Generarion S40 and the Bus

They should be the same or well within an inch. Best bet would be to pull a tape axle to axle to verify. I know it fits on just about all wheel-holding racks I have tried but I have not tried any bus racks.

    Building up S40

Calipers will not work as the reach is too far. Maybe some long reach calipers can work but I haven't seen ones that were successful or had braking performance with writing home about so disc is the way. You an do a double chainring. Triples won't work and IMHO are 1000% unnecessary in todays...

    Freerider steering broken

Do you have a pic you can post? That (if I remember right) was a regular stem type of part. I can tell you that Cruzbike doesn't have those parts for the Freerider anymore, but it might be sometimng a local shop can source. Robert

    New Q45 coming....

The manufacturing realities of today make a more specific date at this time nearly impossible. But rest assured they will be coming. No pricing promises as of yet either. Robert

    New Q45 coming....

All good for an actual gravel bike, but on a recumbent I think that's too much wheel.
