Art, The Shimano style should work - note that "normal" brake pads have a thicker backing plate than the stock ones - so it might be the case that with the replacement pads you need to leave the "heat sink" (questionable if this even works) out and not use it. The thickness of most pad backing...

An aftermarket shock would probably be needed on the Q45, but weight should be OK for the frame especially the Q45. I would say the limiting factor might be the resin seat more than the frame. Robert

The V20 crown race (and all crown races) are specific to the bearing. The V20 has an integrated headset - meaning there are no "cups" to go into the head tube - the races for the bearings are built into the tube itself. This is minimalist design (not my fave) and the new V20C finally abandons...

This is a good concept for a double stand - which is an item that I tried to work on for the stock bike for a few years to no avail. For me, I mainly think of "steering" with my feet, while also not allowing my upper body to be so out of sync with what is happening that the front end wavers. There is a balance of both for sure. Once you become very smooth at the pedal strokes that is when you can actually ride hands free...

WD-40 is the scourge of hardware store/society - definitely don't use it on anything especially on a bike chain/bolts/etc. Only use it for water displacement/Atlas Missile corrosion if you have one.

Any plain thread grease is good - does not necessarily need to be a "bike" branded kind. I have used Vaseline in a pinch before - just a tiny bit needed.
