    Cruztrike???

You have a brake on one side. Does that make the steering go peculiar?

    Custom made RWD CF

Big jockey wheels look nice. He has bolted a panel over them so nobody can see them.

How to make your Vendetta as fast as possible

You people do not know how easy you have it. It used to take me about an hour to replace the back wheel of the Grasshopper. I had to use a makeshift stand made of two chairs and a broomstick. That is why I bought a workstand. There is absolutely no way I am going to attempt to fix a flat in...

    Cruztrike???

This may be a daft question, but what is the point of the crosspiece in front of the axle, under the frame?

    Custom made RWD CF

Definitely not for commuting, unless your journey to work is a straight line. The bar-ends look wrong, but that is the perspective of Cruzbike, pulling on the bars. This machine is RWD, so he probably pushes and does not pull. His cadence seems really slow. The road is flat. What happens if...

Tips for Pedaling at Faster Speeds

@Frito Bandito and @LarryOz are right. The bike will soon get used to being ridden and calm down.

My Very First Recumbent is a V20

Long cranks and high BB? You need an interrupter gear.

My Very First Recumbent is a V20

You know this will not be simple. This is a Cruzbike. Do your knees catch the guns? Does the weight interfere with the steering? How do you reload without stopping? Where do you put the ammo? The kickback shakes the bike so much you are going to need a Thor seat.

    Cruzbike Naming Conventions

I did not know that and I never actually noticed. Now I know why the S40 feels different from the Silvio. Now I know why I do not need a headrest. I am always learning.

Advice on Touring with Suspension or Not

If your Silvio gets stolen, get a S40 with wide tyres. You will not miss the Silvio suspension. When I am on the S40 I do not miss the Grasshopper 's springs, but I have never done loaded touring. You may like the idea of total freedom from punctures, but do not be seduced by Tannus. They...

S40 Chainring - for lower gearing

I have 40t chainwheel and 10-51 cassette and I like the wide range. If the Sunrace works for you you must be stronger than me or in the Netherlands. 650b and 38mm is a good idea. I speak from experience.

Are you a pusher or puller?

I push on the Grasshopper. I also did on the Silvio in the early days. It made the bike hard to steer. I learned to pull on the Silvio. I learned this very quickly. Pulling seems natural on the Silvio and S40, as pushing does on the Grasshopper. You were looking at my Silvio which had a big...

    Titanium china copy of cruzbike

When I first got the Silvio I was falling over into the inside of turns. I worked out how to compensate for this. As I started a turn I forced myself not to lean in. I felt as if I was about to fall outwards. This worked. Eventually I got used to it and steering issues disappeared. It...

    S40-conversion to 2x

I did the opposite of this. I have 12sp derailleur and 10sp shifter. I use a Jtek Shiftmate. They make lots of different ones for specific combinations of gears.

    Rim brakes on new S40.

You can use rim brakes on through axles. Get hubs and rims and get them built. And wait. And wait.

SOLD: 2021 Q45 for sale with extras...

Give it to me. I will drill holes in it, fix mudguards on with fence wire, put brake levers on upside-down, get it muddy so the scratches are invisible. Will that do?
