First Silvio ride was a wash...literally

Betsy, fwiw, the 52T Rotor Q-ring I ran on that bike fit the FD and FD stem perfectly and upshifted from the 39T flawlessly-- so smoothly and quietly I found myself looking down to make sure it had shifted. SRAM double tap shifts like butter when all dialed in. I'm for sure not one of the power...

First Silvio ride was a wash...literally

Never mind. That search yields nothing on the new forum. Use Google, underseat location for solo racer wide bag, and it will come up. Sadly, some of the images from that post did not survive the transition to the new forum.

First Silvio ride was a wash...literally

Looking forward to seeing the bike when you have it all customized and dialed in. Was going to use Solo Racer bags (made by Radical Bags) under the seat of the Silvio. You can do a forum search to see some good pics and tips, just search 'under seat bags on Silvio' or similar, it should come...

Maybe it's just on my display? It's clearly Eric Winn's pic (see above post by Eric) as your avatar. Strange days on the new forum......

Questions re: Silvio from a stickbike/lowracer rider

Rick, that's the sort of feedback I'm looking for. I've definitely been leaning toward the V; just trying to set my mind at ease about it. Hoping Larry will chime in and tell me maybe his feeling of less power to the pedals was due to fatigue from riding far further on the V than the S :-)...

Questions re: Silvio from a stickbike/lowracer rider

Larry said "...the Silvio fit me great. I could actually push more power to the pedals due to the 28 degree hip angle than I can with the 20 degree of the Vendetta." In trying to decide between S30 and V20 I've read everything I can find comparing Silvio 2.x to Vendetta, and that's the second...

    WooooHooo...new S30 delivered today

Chainstay Ext thanks Marc. While my overall height is only 5'6" 167.6cm my x-seam is 41.5" 105cm, so pretty close to your x. Your pics make me optimistic that it would work for me. Still wish there was a 50mm option but will give the 100 a try when i transition to S30 (soon i hope!). Glad you...

    What drove your decision process?

Tohopko, you're welcome. The Tohopko, you're welcome. The CA2.0 was a very good climber compared to the Rans V2 or my wife's Stratus, but the fact that the heavy Sofrider was a far better climber than even the 2.0--well, that convinced me these Cruzbike people were onto something, and something...

    What drove your decision process?

Yet another Air Force vet Yet another Air Force vet here, albeit medical corps. 4 years at Wright-Patt. Two of my (civilian) partners got me started on bents in 2002 when neck problems had me resigned to giving up biking for good. First one was a Rans V2. Then a trike. Then a Bachetta...

So what's the answer? thanks Bob and Jeremy for addressing this. Any other thoughts on uploading pics? Coz as we all know, "without pictures, it never happened" !! ok now to demonstrate a small bit of my tech ignorance and complete lack of strategery (thanks George!) how would one go about...
