    Falling over

I am limited by breathlessness. I discovered this 12 years ago on my Grasshopper. I could go really fast, but then had to really slow down. I had to learn not to go as fast as possible, but to get the speed just right, so my HR goes up just a bit but not too much. This applies to both my...

White Mountain Double Century and Final Race for the CA Triple Crown Stage Race

Mr Perez, you are in a great and honourable tradition. What happened to Faure on his Mochet? Remember, we have nothing to fear but the UCI and the sky falling on our heads.

Emmitt Smith Grand Fondo Century on 9/17/2016 - Results

Yes, careful on the wrong side of the road, but Larry is the fast one going around everybody else.

    Early Days

Wheel-spin on gravel. We can all do that. It will be decreasingly problematical. Leaning forward when going slowly? That is the way to do it. That video suggests that you are a fast learner. You are going to like this machine.

    Falling over

I third that. It makes your upper body independent of the bike. I modified my Silvio so the handlebar clamp is further away from my chest. Now I can go at 3mph for as long as I like.

    FWDRWS bike

He can have a really low B bracket and a big front wheel between his knees. Not easy to do that if the front wheel is steering. Underseat steering is a nuisance because it makes the bike so wide.

You many have heard: Larry crashed again

When I crash a 'bent my elbows take the impact. I keep, thinking about skateboarders elbow pads. Still, I would rather fall over sideways on my elbows than do a DF-type head-first job. I have done that and it is not nice.

You many have heard: Larry crashed again

You did not take your frustration out on Mrs Oslund. You took it out on the ground. The video shows a car going by just after you crashed. Lucky that person was concentrating. I would be nervous about overtaking with all the oncoming traffic. You spend a lot of time on the wrong side of...

    "Resistance is Futile"

When the Sunday LBS riders complain that they cannot draft off you say "Wind resistance is useless"

    High Speed Turns

As Larry exited the penultimate turn he went onto the wrong side of the road. I do that sometimes. I always wonder what the oncoming driver thinks of THAT flying out of nowhere.

    Skinsuits

I suppose if you insist on wearing one of those things then it is a good idea to ride a recumbent instead of a DF. On a recumbent nobody can see your bum.

I look like a big enough twit on that bike already.

What did you do to your Cruzbike today?

When I reached the top of the big hill I realised that my hands were aching from bar-pulling, but I did not zigzag at all. I agree with ratz. Zigzag is only for explosive sprint. Are you a fast-twitcher? Click your shifter.
