Cruzbike 3000 Mile Challenge 2021

After my 64 mile ride today, the Garmin told me I was "overreaching", and that my next ride should be in 61 hours.
Strava also says I should "be cautious of overtraining". I'm at 675 miles so far for August, double my mileage from previous years, but feel OK.

Over-reaching - haha - that is what I call stupid math - they just probably have this dumb program going off your averages. If you were consistently riding 100+ miles a day - it probably would not say a thing, since that was the new normal. You are probably not over-reaching until you start doing over 1000+ miles a week, and then, if you still feel great - keep going!

yes . All things are possible.

However Larry you did break strava and Garmin training models .also worn out a couple of smart trainers. Your bikes are very secondhand riding themselves these days out of neglect. Fancy only riding each one 200 klm per week.

I'm just a few miles shy of reaching the 3,000 mile goal. Previously that was my yearly distance, now Larry keeps pushing me further. Garmin says my FTP has gone up to 215, so that's good.
Today I went out to take back my KOM that was taken by pack of stronger riders. The weatherman said I'd have a 1o mph tailwind, so perfect time to get some.
