Did you run it with the wrong pressure? I like Schwalbe marathon plus, no flats.

I suggest looking at what others and I did on Cruzbike Freerider.

I think it will fit you. I am 5' 11" and 245 lbs, and I fit my Cruzbike Freerider nicely. I do 2 and 3 hour rides regularly.

I think you might have better luck on eBay or Craigslist.

Get an internal gear hub and you will not have problems like this. Remember that there is a reason for the name DERAIL - leur. You could try a different LBS.

I have a 203 mm disk rotor on my Rohloff. I used a rear brake caliper even if it is the front wheel. This brake brakes so well that i already tipped over and hurt myself once, + driven on only the front wheel twice. Be GENTLE on the brake lever.

Probably a machinist. But why would you want a diskbrake on the rear wheel of a sofrider? I can block my freeriders rear wheel using the standard rim brakes that it came with.

I have a freerider with a disk brake in front. It is VERY efficient, do not squeeze too hard, or you will fly over. As for the rear wheel brake, it doesnt do much, and it is very easy to block the wheel and skid.

If your fork is made of iron, then you might be able to weld it on.
